"Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library – Sliven is a modern cultural and scientific-informative centre, carrying out its activities in Sliven and Yambol regions.
It is a temple of science and culture, of the centuries’ experience and spirituality. It combines in its daily activities the traditional library activities, the innovative ways for presenting Bulgarian and world-wide culture and modern management in the beginning of 21 century.
Its services match the needs of the modern society by the free Internet access and the new informative technologies and it is a space for free dialogues and a part of the informative society without borders. It works actively for reaching European standards, for contacting good partners in Bulgaria and abroad, for creating new initiatives.
The work of "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library with children differentiates it from the other libraries in the country. An example of this work is the National Children’s
Book Festival which has taken place yearly since 1999. The festival became the only one Bulgarian forum on which the problems of publishing, disseminating and reading of children’s books are discussed. It gives a chance to young writes and painters to express themselves and by the means of words, the magic of songs and of the beauty of dance they send their messages as talented workers.
"Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library is an institution with a necessary and an effective presence in public and cultural life not only in Sliven and the region, but also in Bulgaria.

Водещ театрален институт в региона и страната. Създаден през 1918 г. към народно читалище "Зора".
От 1987 г. има собствена модерна сграда на пл. "Х. Димитър" с обща площ 1400 кв. м., с две зрителни зали – голяма (500 места) и камерна (80 места). Работи като открита сцена – продуциращ център.

Създаден като самодеен състав през 1960 г. В началото на 1971 г. придобива статут на професионален театрален институт.
От 1989 г. е настанен в съвременна база на бул. "Цар Освободител" със зрителна зала с 200 места. Реализира свои представления на открито, в детските градини, селищата на общината, в региона и страната.

It was founded in 1933 at the Zora community center.
Since 1969 the orchestra has been entirely professional. In his repertoire, along with the timeless examples of musical preclassics and classics, sound works from all styles and eras by contemporary Bulgarian and foreign composers.
It has successfully visited Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Italy, Spain and Greece.
Since 2000, the orchestra has been successfully implementing a program of educational concerts, in accordance with school educational programs, as well as a program for organizing international courses for conductors and musicians.

The Folklore Song and Dance Ensemble – Sliven was founded in 1959 as an amateur group. It became a professional group in 1977.
There are many songs and dances from the folklore wealth of the region of Sliven in its repertoire. Moreover, it includes musical compositions from other folklore regions.
The Folklore Song and Dance Ensemble – Sliven is composed of a director, orchestra, chorus and dancers.
